Description

Is there an existing issue for this?
  • This is a bug in RetroArch frontend
  • I have searched the existing issues
Description

When I play a video other than youtube in the first 5 seconds of reloading, it can never find the videofile, if I do it after, the videofile is found.
I think the same issue is happening in Retroarch.
It's for all cores.
Sorry if I'm mistaken.

  2. press startbutton
  3. Go to gear tab

Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure at web.libretro.com on a PS5 or PS Portal Cloud browser, especially during the first five seconds after reload, and capture the default-core loading behavior. The issue provides no source files or tests; done means identifying and fixing the timing failure so the “could not load default core” error no longer appears.
