Description
Since RetroArch's config system is stateful (i.e. where things get saved depends on whether there's overrides active), it'd be great if each of the menu drivers had some sort of small indicator for when core, content directory, or content-specific overrides are active.

Research direction
Start by locating RetroArch's menu drivers and the code that tracks active core, content-directory, and content-specific overrides. Determine how each menu driver represents status indicators, then define consistent indicators for all three override states and verify them across the affected menu drivers.
