Description
Is there an existing issue for this?
- This is a bug in RetroArch frontend
- I have searched the existing issues
Description
When I connect a gulikit elves 2 to my PC retroarch is recognizing it as an 8bitdo m30 and either my own or the default m30 remap file, which is not going to be 'correct' since the elves 2 is a standard dualshock style layout not a 6 button saturn clone.
Expected behavior
I would expect it to either identify the elves 2 as the elves 2 or since the controller is brand new I'd assume it would be default to 'generic x input controller'
Steps to reproduce the bug
connect elves 2 in X input mode via bluetooth, open retroarch. (I have downloaded the latest controller profiles via the online updater)

Research direction
Reproduce the issue by connecting the Gulikit Elves 2 in XInput mode over Bluetooth on the Linux Flatpak build and check how RetroArch identifies it and selects a controller profile. Compare the result with the expected generic XInput behavior and DualShock-style layout; done means the controller is identified correctly or receives a suitable generic mapping without the M30 remap.
