Description

Is there an existing issue for this?
  • This is a bug in RetroArch frontend
  • I have searched the existing issues
Description

Steps to produce:

  1. start a multi-disc game
  2. press F1 to enter Quick Menu, select Disc Control then Load New Disc
  3. select a new disc, returning to the game
  4. press F1 again, we're in Disc Control
  5. press back button, it will go back to playlist item page instead of Quick Menu

expected behavior:
In the above step 5, it should go back to Quick Menu

don't know it's by design or a bug, but going back to Quick Menu definitely feels more intuitive and natural to me

Research direction

Reproduce the navigation on Windows 10 using the nightly build: start a multi-disc game, open Quick Menu > Disc Control > Load New Disc, then press F1 and Back. Trace the Quick Menu and Disc Control navigation entry points; done means Back from Disc Control returns to Quick Menu rather than the playlist item page.
