Description

There should be a way to undo something that you have done previously (Ex. An accidental reset that loses you over 30 hours of the game). This could also be implemented with an auto save at the intervals that the user decides.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by clarifying whether the goal is undoing actions, restoring after reset, user-configured interval auto-save, or all three, then locate RetroArch's existing save and reset flows. Done should include an agreed behavior and coverage for the selected recovery scenarios.
