Description
I download roms, I usually start off with the zip files, and the zip files have disc bin cue iso gdi files dumped from the disc. But it takes up more space than normal. For example, Metal slug 4 on the ps2 has a zip file of 910 MB, but when compressed to chd it is 77.4 MB. Can there be a chdman core that scans the rom folders for disc games, scans inside archive files like 7z and zip, decompresses the folders, and converts to chd. Delete the original files when done.

Research direction
Start with the linked chdman documentation and trace RetroArch's ROM-folder scanning and archive-handling flow. Define how disc files inside ZIP and 7z archives are identified, converted to CHD, and safely removed; done means the conversion works for the listed disc formats without losing the originals unexpectedly.
