Research direction

Reproduce the failure in RetroArch 1.20.0 and the nightly build on Android 7.1.2 under NoxPlayer, following Load Core > Download a Core. Start by checking the available error information, since the report includes no logs or affected cores. Done means the cores list downloads successfully from RetroArch servers in this environment.
