Description
The idea is that I use my own made overlay with pictures of the real hardwarw(game gear for example).
If I connect a controller it already auto hides the overlay which is good but now there is a lot black space there. I could go into video settings every time to change it to full screen but it would be really nice if I could map it to a button to switch between fullscreen(controller connected) and core specific (when overlay is used)

Research direction
Start by tracing the iOS video settings and controller shortcut handling described in the request. Determine how fullscreen and core-specific resolution are represented, then define a shortcut that switches between them while preserving overlay behavior. Done means the option can be mapped and reliably toggles the two display modes on iOS.
