Description

Description

When using the overlay retropad controls (including default retropad-clear and neo-retropad-clear) the actual game inputs are mapped wildly off to where the overlay buttons show up on the screen. The actual inputs seem to be clustered in some corner of the screen (invisible) as they align up with the visual overlay buttons.

Expected behavior

Obviously, expect the overlay buttons to be lined up with their respective button inputs.

Actual behavior

Actual game inputs are mapped wildly off to where the overlay buttons show up on the screen.

Steps to reproduce the bug

Any core, while using no controller (with Auto-rotate and auto-scale overlay both ON)

Bisect Results

Not sure if it was always like this since installation or not

Version/Commit

1.19.1

Environment information
  • OS: Android

Any way to fix this, remap? (or reset settings without losing the RetroArch/core/game settings?)

Research direction

The report names no source files or tests. Start by reproducing the issue on Android 1.19.1 with a core, no controller, auto-rotate enabled, and auto-scale overlay enabled; then locate the overlay input-coordinate handling. Done means the game inputs align with their visible overlay buttons without disrupting the listed retropad overlays.
