Description
Description
All tested cores seem to run similarily slow, regardless of required computing power. Tested with GBA (Kirbys nightmare in dreamland), SNES (super mario world) and some light PSX games (worms world party main menu, lode runner), also tried different cores for the systems, if available. the sound seems choppy as well.
Expected behavior
Expected to see the cores run smooth with smooth sounds playing
Actual behavior
Laggy video and audio (regardless of how much computing power is required, it feels like it runs slowed down with the sound being choppy to "fit" the video)
Steps to reproduce the bug
- install current build of retroarch on o3ds
- install cores
- load any rom
Version/Commit

Environment information

Additional Question
I read about this being an issue in the past which seemed to get fixed and reoccured. Are there any somewhat recent builds where this shouldn't occur in the meanwhile?

Research direction
Start by reproducing the laggy video and choppy audio on an o3DS with the current stable and nightly RetroArch builds, using the listed GBA, SNES, and PSX examples. Compare core behavior and system information across builds; done means identifying the cause of the slowdown and confirming smooth video and audio on the affected setup.
