Research direction

No source files, tests, or entry points are named in the report. First reproduce the launch-and-resize sequence on a Quest 3 running RetroArch 1.16.0, then use the resulting crash information to locate the affected resize path; done means the UI resizes successfully without the app becoming unresponsive.
