Description
Description
At the request of @JesseTG I'm opening this issue about an issue with microphone when using wasapi driver. The recording gets distorted, it doesn't happen when using sdl2 driver.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the distortion on Windows 10 with the WASAPI microphone driver and compare the result with the SDL2 driver, following the listed MelonDS and micrecord.nds steps. Inspect the RetroArch microphone capture path and determine where WASAPI audio diverges from SDL2. Done means microphone recordings are no longer distorted when WASAPI is selected and the reproduction steps no longer demonstrate the issue.
