Description
Description
This is a bit of a weird one! When playing Rocket - Robot on Wheels on the Mupen64Plus-Next core, using GLideN64 with Aspect Ratio set to Wide (adjusted) and Native Resolution Factor set to 4x, the setting works perfectly when using the EU version of the rom - but seems to be completely ignored when using the US versioin. I can't see any bugs in the log, and seeing as the settings are exactly the same between the two games, I can't imagine why it might be happening
After discovering the weirdness, I tested every other rom I own out, and no other game had the same issue.
Expected behavior
Both games to display in widescreen
Actual behavior
The EU rom displays in widescreen, the US one stays in 4:3
Steps to reproduce the bug
- Load Mupen64Plus-Next using GLideN64, set Aspect Ratio to Wide (adjusted) and Native Resolution Factor to 4x
- Load the US rom, and see it's still 4:3
- Repeat with the EU rom, with different results

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in RetroArch 1.14.0 on Windows 10 with the Mupen64Plus-Next core and GLideN64, comparing the US and EU ROMs using the reported settings. Trace the aspect-ratio handling for this game and verify that both versions display in widescreen, or document the specific ROM difference causing the behavior.
