Description

"Information" currently displays very little actual information - the filename, path, and a few play statistics. It would be nice to also display MD5 and SHA1 checksum information for the selected game - it would be helpful when interfacing with Retroachievements, when trying to soft-patch a game, or trying to determine whether you're playing on a bad dump. While this would be fairly simple to find oneself on desktop, players on console, mobile, or Steam Deck might have a harder time finding this information.

Research direction

Start by locating the Information tab implementation for the selected game and any existing checksum or ROM metadata handling. Add MD5 and SHA1 values to the displayed information, then verify the result across the console, mobile, and Steam Deck interfaces mentioned in the issue.
