Description

In Android on Dimensity 1200 (GPD XP+) Audio Latency (ms) changes from e.g. 512 to below 30 ms or so after ten seconds of use.

The setting is 512 but the latency is in fact much lower.

This makes it impossible to set it to e.g. 48 ms with no sound glitches but it's foreced down to below 30 ms after ten seconds or so which causes sound glitches e.g. in FB Neo, Bomb Jack.

Repro
It's very easy to repro in the menu with sounds on. Notice that the clicky 'OK' sound starts correctly by being half a second delayed ... but after ten seconds the delay is suddenly gone.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the Android menu on a Dimensity 1200 device such as the GPD XP+, with sounds enabled. Compare the configured 512 ms latency with the observed delay before and after ten seconds; done means the setting remains effective and games such as FB Neo no longer develop sound glitches.
