Description

Hello everyone,
for a few months I have a problem of Netplay with retroarch.
The upnp of my internet box is activated and the ports are triggered.
The network configuration of my retroarch is the same (and it worked before).
On the other hand, since the update of retroarch, each time I launch a network game, I have the message "Netplay Upnp port mapping failed".
The same configuration under Windows 11 works, but on MacBook it does not work.
Can anyone help me?

  • RetroArch: 1.11.0
  • OS: Catalina 10.15 and more

Research direction

Start by reproducing the “Netplay Upnp port mapping failed” error in RetroArch 1.11.0 on macOS Catalina or later, using the reported UPnP and port configuration. Compare the behavior with the working Windows 11 setup; done means Netplay establishes the UPnP port mapping successfully on MacBook.
