ok, so I have a PDP Fight Pad Pro controller, there is a cfg file with the same name in the autoconfig/hid folder of the RetroArch-wii but it doesn't work no matter what I do
my config file looks like this

I am running a retroarch 1.7.0 version since i've heard that later versions have problems supporting HID.
What else do I need except for .cfg file in the autoconfig/hid folder?
