As above. My hardware configuration is Fire Stick and some generic BT gamepad. Both, gamepad and Fire Stick remote are recognized and works in RetroArch menu, however not in the game/core itself

Research direction

Reproduce the issue on a Fire Stick with a generic Bluetooth gamepad, checking input in the RetroArch menu and after launching a core/game. No source file or test is named; done means both the gamepad and Fire Stick remote remain recognized and usable inside the launched game/core.
