Description
Description
I'm not sure entirely what causes this because it doesn't happen outside of RetroArch, but playing Mupen64plus or PPSPP results in games like Hot Wheels Turbo Racing and Zelda: Ocarina of Time having tremendous black flickering. I tested on an AMD device and it's normal on it so it seems to be Intel related. (perhaps only Iris Xe even considering it's drastically different than previous Intel devices).
Expected behavior
Games run without flickering/flashing
Actual behavior
N64/PSP games flicker, probably more cores effected, I haven't tested yet.
Steps to reproduce the bug
- Own Intel Iris Xe Graphics
- Be using any Linux distro
- Play a game using N64 or PSP emulators, more cores probably effected but I haven't tested them.
Environment information
- OS: Pop OS 20.04/21.10/ChimeraOS

Research direction
No file, test, or entry point is named. First reproduce the flickering with Intel Iris Xe on Linux using Mupen64Plus or PPSSPP and the listed games, then compare behavior with the AMD device or another core if available. Done means the affected games render without black flickering on the reported Intel hardware.
