Description

Description

Bug happens on clean version(1.9.13) was built in msys2 OR msvc-2019, pcsx_rearmed core only. Bug literally same - https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/issues/7965 . I'm thinking it happens during playing CDA music.

Expected behavior

RetroArch will not crash

Actual behavior

RetroArch crashes on loading savestate

Steps to reproduce the bug

For me it's 100% recipe:

  1. Fighting Force game 1.1 USA
  2. Wait Main menu (helicopter and 1player 2player)
  3. Press Save, then Load
Version/Commit
  • RetroArch: [1.9.13/1280151]
Environment information
  • OS: Windows 10 , x64
  • Compiler: msys2-mingw64(retroarch/pcsx_rearmed)/msvc(retroarch)

Research direction

Reproduce the crash with the pcsx_rearmed core using Fighting Force 1.1 USA on Windows, following the listed save-then-load steps. Start by comparing the behavior with issue #7965 and investigate savestate loading, especially the possible CDA music path; done means loading the savestate no longer crashes.
