When changing the refresh rate in settings, make the steps larger the longer the keys are pressed

Description
The refresh rate changes by a 0.001 Hz step with each key press. Holding the left or right keys does not make the steps larger.
This behavior is very user unfriendly. Make it so that as the key is kept pressed, the steps get larger and larger.
As an example:
After 2 seconds: 0.01 Hz steps
After 5 seconds: 0.1 Hz steps
After 10 seconds: 1 Hz steps
