Description
First and foremost consider this:
- Only RetroArch bugs should be filed here. Not core bugs or game bugs
- This is not a forum or a help section, this is strictly developer oriented
Description
In PS2 version Retroarch creates folders to save cheat files inside "cheats" folder. However it save the folder inside with core name on it like for example a folder called "Picodrive" for genesis games instead of creating a folder called "Sega - Mega Drive" like the windows version does. This is much better to save a folder with the console name since cheats works with all genesis core it makes more sense to called this folder "sega- mega drive" instead of picodrive

Research direction
No file, entry point, version, reproduction steps, or test is identified. Start by reproducing the PS2 cheat-folder behavior and compare it with the Windows naming behavior; done means confirming the intended folder naming and adding coverage for the corrected behavior.
