Description
When we opened the RetroArch desktop menu, we came across several folders there. With the exception of those that represent the configured systems I configured so that the other folders would be hidden.
However, the "history" folder returns every time I close the RetroArch desktop window.
Is that a bug?

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue in the RetroArch desktop menu: hide the non-configured folders, close the desktop window, and check whether the history folder returns. Trace the history folder's visibility and persistence behavior; done means it remains hidden after reopening the window when configured folders are hidden.
