Description
Database Manager is to me a great way to discover new games or quickly informations about games but it's not as user friendly as Explore feature.
Instead of displaying all .rdb files just after you enter the Database Manager entry I'd see something more like that Explore view :
-
Search name (so among all games in all Databases)
-
Show all (here we'd have a list of .rdb files just like currently)
And then all the remaining
- By Genre
- By Developer
- By Year
- By Release year
- ...
It'd be way more convenient like this.

Research direction
Start by comparing the current Database Manager entry with the existing Explore feature. Identify the entry points for listing .rdb files, searching across databases, and browsing metadata such as genre, developer, and year. Done means the Database Manager offers the requested Explore-style navigation and filtering.
