Description
Everytime I start up Retroarch, it detects/mistakes my xbox one controller for a 8bitdo N30 modkit controller.
Thus, I lose d-pad support unless I go in manually to change the d-pad buttons individually.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the controller detection and d-pad mapping problem on Windows 10 using RetroArch 1.9.0 or the reported nightly build. Inspect the controller-detection and input-mapping behavior; done means an Xbox One controller is identified correctly at startup and retains working d-pad support without manual remapping.
