Description
Description
Android aarch64 nightly build 2020-01-20 and 2020-01-24
Using mupen64 I switched from gliden64/hle to parallel rdp/rsp and ran into a problem where if I tried to close content from the quick menu the retroarch app just flat out crashed, leaving me unable to switch back to gn64/HLE because the settings never saved. Had to open up the config file with an editor to get around it
[Description of the bug]
Expected behavior
Close Content closes the game and quits back to main RA menu
Actual behavior
App hard crashes out to tablet OS Home screen
Steps to reproduce the bug
- Run N64 game using Mupen64-Next core
- Open Quick Menu -> Options
- Change RDP and RSP to Parallel
- Close Content
- Restart game
- Open Quick Menu -> Options
- Change RDP back to GLideN64 and/or RSP back to HLE
- Close Content, app crashes
Environment information
- OS: Android 10, Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

Research direction
Start by reproducing the listed steps from Quick Menu -> Options on Android 10, using Mupen64-Next with Parallel RDP/RSP and then switching back to GLideN64/HLE. Inspect the crash output around Close Content; done means the app returns to the main menu without crashing and the changed settings persist.
