Description

As the title says. I’m unable to navigate the menus (especially scrolling them up and down) with my trackpad. I can, however, select an option by clicking on it.

I’m on an iMac (iMac20,2) with a 3,8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7, an AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB GPU and macOS Big Sur 11.1 installed.

Research direction

No files or tests are identified in the report. Start by reproducing the menu-navigation problem on macOS Big Sur with an iMac trackpad, then trace the platform input handling and menu scrolling path. Done means trackpad scrolling navigates menus while clicking options continues to work.
