Description
Description
Open RA, open a game. Turn on BT controller. Crash. Repeatable.
This is a brand new install of 975aecb 1.9. Also brand new 1.9.0 stable install does not do this.
It is possible the core may be doing this. Snes9x (1.6.0 975aecb)
Expected behavior
RA to notify a controller is plugged in and work as normal.
Actual behavior
Crash to desktop
Steps
- Open (any?) SNES (or otherconsole?) game in RA fullscreen - windowed (also buggy btw, windows key no longer works in this mode like it did in 1.9 stable)
- SNES9x 1.6.0 975aecb - turn on BT controller. Crash
- RetroArch: [version/commit]
Git: fab0eed15e (so says the log)

Research direction
Start by reproducing the crash on Windows 10 with the RetroArch and Snes9x versions described, then inspect the attached retroarch__2020_12_14__17_11_24.log and retroarch__2020_12_14__17_11_03.log. Done means Bluetooth controller activation no longer crashes RetroArch and the controller works normally in the tested game.
