Description

Description

When trying to save a shader preset RA 1.9 Stable & the latest nightly both hang requiring force-quit. No crash log as it never crashes, just stalls/hangs forever. Strange thing is that the shader save does get created

Expected behavior

Save to complete with a little notification after saying it did and RA to continue to be functional.

Actual behavior

Preset file saves, but RA stalls forever.

Steps to reproduce the bug
  1. Open a shader preset or make a new one (Using SNES9x core for the game if this matters)
  2. Save the preset
  3. ???
  4. RA Stalls

Research direction

Start by reading the attached retroarch__2020_12_14__17_46_56.log and reproducing the save sequence on Windows 10 with the SNES9x core. Trace what happens after the preset file is written; done means saving completes with a notification and RetroArch remains responsive.
