Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue on Windows 10 with the d3d9 renderer, then compare Ozone UI font rendering with d3d10, d3d11, gl, glcore, and gl1. Trace the Ozone UI and d3d9 rendering paths mentioned in the report. Done means fonts remain visible after selecting d3d9 and restarting RetroArch.
