Description
First and foremost consider this:
- Only RetroArch bugs should be filed here. Not core bugs or game bugs
- This is not a forum or a help section, this is strictly developer oriented
Description
Since I have a Trackball with a very convenient Wheel (located around the ball)
I have yet not found a way to bind this "Scroll Wheel" to any of the known games that would greatly benefit from this ...
I guess it would need to be made available as the Z-Axis to the emulators that support a mouse (such as game , etc.)
Expected behavior
i.a. Arkanoid would be playable
Actual behavior
It does not seem to be possible to map the Z-Axis to any game
Environment information
- OS: Linux / Raspberry / RetroPi official image
- Compiler: from RetroArch official image

Research direction
No source file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by locating RetroArch's mouse-input mapping and the path used by mouse-enabled games, then determine how the wheel could be exposed as a Z-axis. Done means the wheel can be mapped and a supported game such as Arkanoid receives the input.
