Description
Going to the RA menu while netplaying over the Madrid relay server causes bad lag and/or disconnects.
Edit: Our guess is that it is caused by the game pausing when going to the menu, so probably pausing is the problem, not going to the menu.
I´m on the Retroarch Discord server under the name "Steve" and always happy to help you testing.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue with RetroArch 1.8.7 on Windows 10: play a SNES game over netplay through the Madrid relay server and press F1. Investigate the pause or menu transition during netplay, then verify that opening the RA menu no longer causes severe lag, desynchronization, or disconnects.
