Description

Description

Can not get SRAM autosave interval doesn't work on gpSP no matter what I configure.
Works perfectly on VBA Next as well as other cores, but VBA Next doesn't run Red Rescue Team full speed wich is an issue for me.

Expected behavior

With autosave interval set to 1 second, I expect the SRAM to be saved no more than 1 second after the in-game save happened.

Actual behavior

SRAM does not automatically get saved at all. Only when the core get shut down or restarted from within RetroArch does it get saved. Also, like the SRAM, the runtime log does not get updated when the core is not shut down from within RetroArch. Though, that might be intentional and unrelated.

Version/Commit
  • RetroArch: Version 1.8.6, directly off of RA's download page
Environment information
  • OS: PS Vita OS 3.60

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue on PS Vita OS 3.60 with RetroArch 1.8.6, the gpSP core, and a one-second SRAM autosave interval. Compare behavior with VBA Next and verify that SRAM is saved within one second of an in-game save without shutting down or restarting RetroArch.
