Description

Description

I own 3 xbox controllers, on of them can't be detected in auto or manual config (re edited another xbox controller).

Expected behavior

App recognizes it and let's me use it.

Actual behavior

It just does not work.

Steps to reproduce the bug
  1. Connect my xbox controller
  2. Launch app
Bisect Results

Tried resetting configs, making my custom config and so on, random solutions found on the internet with changing even more configs. But since I also tried manually put PID/VId of the device I assume maybe either my pad is a fake or there is something else going on.

Xbox controllers that gets recognized:
VID_045E PID_02EA (wired) -> 1118/746
VID_045E PID_02EA / VID_045E PID_02FF (wireless) -> 1118/746 | 1118 / 767

Not recognized:
VID_045E PID_02D1 (wired) -> 1118/721

PID 02EA (746) is found in Xbox_One_Controller_Wireless_Adapter.cfg and I guess it works.
PID 02D1 (721) I tried replacing with the default xbox config and creating new one but did not work.

Research direction

Start with Xbox_One_Controller_Wireless_Adapter.cfg and the default Xbox configuration, comparing the listed VID/PID values with the unrecognized VID_045E PID_02D1 device. Reproduce on Windows 10 with RetroArch 1.8.6 and confirm that the controller is detected and usable without manual configuration.
