Description

Description

When using the Hori Wired Mini Pad for PS4, it seems to reconnect every second or so.
A user (not me) on reddit posted the same problem with a picture which I am attaching here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/RetroArch/comments/fx5xb3/this_started_happening_today_and_i_dont_know_why/

Please note that I have two Mini Pads and they do the same. It does not happen with any other type of controller that I own.

Also, this pad in particular has a strange feature that it shows up twice in Windows's USB controller panel (maybe because it has two modes).

Expected behavior

One notification.

Actual behavior

Notifies connection every second or so.

Steps to reproduce the bug
  1. Plug in Hori Wired Mini Pad for PS4 into Windows 10 PC
  2. Run retroarch and behold.
Bisect Results

Has been happening since I have the Mini Pad. It has never worked as one would want. (I may have had been in version 1.8.2 or .3)

Version/Commit

1.8.5

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with the Hori Wired Mini Pad for PS4 on a Windows 10 PC using RetroArch 1.8.5, then compare its connection notifications with another controller. The issue names no source file, test, or entry point; done means the pad produces one connection notification instead of reconnecting every second.
