Description

When my 8bitdo SN30 Pro Plus is connected via Bluetoth the mgba core/retroarch goes down to ~50 hz. After turning it off the fps go up to 60 and the sound is perfect. WTF ?! So is it a bug in Retroarch or mgba core ? I use this controller in Xinput mode.

RetroArch 1.8.4

Windows 10 64bit
Ryzen 3900X
32 GB RAM 3200mhz
RTX 2080

Vulkan/GL (doesn't matter)

Research direction

No source file or test is named. Start by reproducing the reported ~50 Hz slowdown and crackling with the 8bitdo SN30 Pro Plus in XInput mode on Windows 10, then compare Bluetooth and disconnected-controller runs while isolating RetroArch from the mGBA core; done means identifying which component owns the regression and adding a verified fix or clear diagnosis.
