What happened

I wrote a review and you wanted me to contact you, but I was not sure how to do that so here I am.

I do not currently have the app installed. I have setup my APP3 on an ipad with ipados 26. I setup the hearing aid function inputting my audiogram from the doctor. Doing this and connecting to my pixel as a bluetooth device, I had no extended APP3 functionality, but it hearing aid function is stored on device and would modify the audio output even when connected to a non-apple device.

after installing Librepods on my pixel and connecting the APP3, I gained the extended functionality that the app delivers, but immediately lost the hearing aid settings on the APP3.

I then uninstalled Librepods and reconnected to the pixel and the hearing aid functionality was still missing. I then went back to the Ipad I originallly used to setup the APP3 and it "recognized" an available APP3 that could connect, as if it had never connected to them before. It then went through the initial setup on the ipad asking questions about what features I wanted setup. I skipped all and when I went into the settings for the APP3 on the ipad and selected the hearing aid feature to turn on, it allowed me to select the prior audiogram I had input before. All other settings that I have changed had to be reselected as if the APP3 had been reset.

Research direction

No source files or tests are named. Start by reproducing the reported sequence with a Pixel 8, AirPods Pro 3, and the original iPad setup, then compare the hearing-aid configuration before and after connecting Librepods. Done means the prior hearing-aid settings remain available after installation and connection.
