Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue on the Lenovo Xiaoxin 12.7 2023 running Android 13 and review the attached AirPods log, especially the socket read failure. Compare the app's reported connection state with the manually paired AirPods Pro 2, and consider the issue resolved when the app detects the connected earbuds without that error.
