Description
I noticed that when I am changing through different "Listening Mode" that sometimes I would select "Adaptive", it would enter that mode, and then display as "Off" -- this would happen consistently whether or not the "Off Listening Mode" was selected, although when it was turned on it would occasionally display properly. Sometimes it would take a moment to update before switching it to showing the "Off" listening mode.
The airpods would correctly switch into the listening mode selected and would not change their mode, it is entirely a visual bug.
Similarly, when switching the on and off the "Off Listening Mode" it would always change the "Listening Mode" to "Transparency" regardless of what mode it was currently in (both visually and on the airpods themselves) -- this might make sense it was currently in the "Off" listening mode but I feel like it should otherwise just stay in its current listening mode (not that this really matters though as I image people probably don't change this setting terribly frequently).

ps. this was tested on the HEAD of the /linux/rust branch on NixOS (with the Asahi kernel, running Hyprland) and with AirPods Pro 3s

Research direction
Start by reproducing the issue on the /linux/rust branch using the Listening Mode and Off Listening Mode controls. Verify that Adaptive is displayed correctly and that toggling the Off Listening Mode does not unexpectedly change the selected mode; done means the visual state matches the AirPods' actual listening mode.
