I've got a ConnectionHandler for outgoing connections and if I call

connection.secureSession().getRemoteId()

Research direction

Start by tracing ConnectionHandler and the implementations of secureSession().getRemoteId() and remoteAddress().getPeerId(). Reproduce the outgoing-connection case and compare how each value is populated; done means remoteAddress().getPeerId() returns the same valid peer ID as the secure session.
