Description
FYI: The server code did not change - it is running stable under various loads on commit id 665d79f1 (or earlier). After libevent upgrade to commit id ec8d7a5a it randomly crashes. Can't upload stack trace nor share server code unfortunately.
OS: RHEL8, non-ssl sockets only.

Research direction
No source file, entry point, stack trace, or reproducible case is provided. Compare libevent commits 665d79f1 and ec8d7a5a using a minimal TCP server on RHEL8 with non-SSL sockets, capture the crash, and narrow the regression to a reproducible test before determining what done means.
