Description

In section 4.3.1, we say

ISRG's automated processes confirm that all requested names have been properly validated to be controlled by the Subscriber requesting the certificate.

We should say "identifiers" rather than "names" to be more inclusive of IP SANs (though "names" is not incorrect). We should also scan the document for other "names" that should be reworded as "identifiers" for similar reasons.

Research direction

Locate section 4.3.1 in the CP/CPS document and review its use of “names” in the quoted sentence. Scan the document for other cases where “identifiers” is more inclusive, then confirm the intended wording is updated consistently throughout.
