Description

Probably needs to be written in Numba, but we should be able to GPU-accelerate ALS. Possibly with conjugate gradient instead of Cholesky decomposition.

Research direction

The issue does not name any files or tests. Start by locating the existing ALS implementation, then investigate the proposed Numba GPU approach and the possible conjugate-gradient replacement for Cholesky decomposition; the work is done when ALS has GPU acceleration with its existing behavior preserved.
