Research direction

Start with the reproduction at https://snack.expo.io/BJIj7h8UN and the related example in the examples folder, using the Android and react-native v0.58 details from the issue. Trace how swipes are handled when Text is clipped with a line limit and ellipsizeMode=clip; done means swiping directly above the clipped text works on Android.
