Description

Desired behavior

Reported by Jessica in the 2023-06-21 bug hunt

I feel like the format filter in the import from channel search is missing some formats? I wanted to filter by exercise

Current behavior

In the main search page, exercise is listed as a format option. In "Import from channels" however, it is not listed, and there is a checkbox to filter by assessments. This is a confusing UI because it's not consistent, and also, using "exercises" and "assessments" interchangeably in the filtering might be confusing for some users.

Research direction

Compare the main search and Import from channels format-filter entry points described in the issue, starting with how each presents exercises and assessments. Done means the filters use consistent format terminology and behavior, including a clear way to find exercises.
