Description
Desired behavior
As a user, I would like to have insight from within the Studio UI regarding updates and releases for the product. I would like to see the date/time studio was last updated (meaning patched or released with new code) as well as a link to the Github releases page where I'll be able to see a summary of the changes. Some suggestions:
- Utilize the service worker to track and surface updates
Current behavior
From Studio itself, I have no visibility into whether or not Studio has been updated to resolve an issue I've been experiencing, or if new features were released that I can take advantage of.
Value add
- With visibility into this information, consistent updates could promote confidence in the product
- Users have more confidence in the resolution of issues by being able to see for themselves that it's been updated

- Adds additional noise that some users may not care about
