Description

Original report

(I think old Studio would ask you to set it as part of the publishing process)

There is a red bubble on the channel metadata pencil button, but that's not near the publish button. Also, when you click into the channel metadata editor, it doesn't highlight the missing field in red or indicate what is missing/invalid. Until I try to save — then it does get highlighted in red, but there's no indication (other than the absence of a "Changes saved" toast) that it wasn't saved. I only see it if I then scroll up.

Research direction

No file or test is named in the report. Start by reproducing the disabled PUBLISH flow and opening the channel metadata editor; done means the missing language is clearly identified near the relevant action, invalid state is visible before or during saving, and the outcome is communicated without requiring a scroll.
