Description

When variable highlighting is active in one's IDE, the variable created by peel isn't highlighted.

import Mathlib.Tactic.Peel

example (P : ℕ → Prop) (hP : ∃ n : ℕ, P n) :
    ∃ n : ℕ, P n := by
  peel hP with hn
  exact hn

Here hn should be highlighted already on the peel line.

Research direction

Start with the Mathlib.Tactic.Peel entry point and reproduce the example in an IDE with variable highlighting enabled. Trace how the name hn introduced by peel is exposed to highlighting, and consider the issue complete when hn is highlighted on the peel line as well as at its use.
