Description

Tracking issue for the state of topological vector spaces

  • Show that dualPairing is right separating by Hahn-Banach and prove the embedding and the tendsto theorem for WeakSpace
Documentation
  • Create map between mathlib and Bourbaki - TVS
Refactors
  • #11500
  • Factor out theorems about polar from Analysis.NormedSpace.Dual to new file Analysis.LocallyConvex.Dual if they hold for TVS.
  • Refactor ContinuousLinearMap theorems to ContinuousSemilinearMapClass if possible

Research direction

Start by reading the checklist entries for dualPairing, WeakSpace, and the existing results in Analysis.NormedSpace.Dual. Review issue #11500 and the proposed Analysis.LocallyConvex.Dual refactor before choosing a scoped task. Done means completing one explicitly selected checklist item with the relevant proofs, documentation map, or refactor validated in mathlib.
