Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or implementation entry point. Start by locating the web editor's existing keyboard-handling integration, then review the linked Replit and VS Code Vim references. Done would require an agreed scope for supported Vim motions and tests or documented checks showing that scope works in the editor.
